Buddha Park is located about 20 kms southeast of Vientiane, Lao.  Numerous Buddha-themed concrete statues are squeezed into a space between the road and the Mekong.

Fields are very peaceful and provide a serene backdrop for a day's motorbike ride through the countryside.

There is always time for serene reflection in the Lao countryside.

Khu Kana Falls is located about 25 kms north of Vientiane.  The last 10 kms is a gravel/dirt/sand road that gives a person reason to rest at the Falls area.
