Colorful blooms abound at Buddha Park, southeast of Vientiane, Lao.  The park is near Friendship Bridge linking Thailand with Lao.

Buddha Park is located about 20 kms southeast of Vientiane, Lao.  Numerous Buddha-themed concrete statues are squeezed into a space between the road and the Mekong.

Pratuxai Monument in Vientiane, Lao was inspired by the Arch d'Triomphe in Paris.

Idyllic
Khu Kana Falls is located about 25 kms north of Vientiane.  The last 10 kms is a gravel/dirt/sand road that gives a person reason to rest at the Falls area.
